Sandlóa

Sandlóa is icelandic word for Common Ringed Plover and it is a small bird that can be seen on the coast. What is strange is the fact that normally couples separate immediately after the young hatch, but here in the cold north it is possible to see that the couple will stay together and support in the care of the born young.
