About Me

The Quiet Magic of Creation

I have been painting since I could first hold a pencil. As a child, I would lose myself in time while painting or wandering through nature – and that same feeling has never left me.

From the age of six, I attended art classes twice a week, exploring countless techniques. Later, I studied at the renowned School of Ceramic Design in Bechyně, one of the best art schools of its time.

My inspiration comes from nature and from dreams. Art has always been my path – not only in painting, but also in music, dance, and design. I play the piano, taught dance for twenty years, and created my own fashion brands. Later, I turned towards therapy – dance therapy, herbal medicine, aromatherapy – and today I also study art therapy, because I believe that art can heal.

Journey North

I chose Iceland for its unique nature and the peace that flows from its people. I never expected that painting would become my full-time work here.

When my son was born and I stayed at home with him, I started painting again – at first out of longing for my Czech homeland. Soon after, I was diagnosed with advanced macular degeneration, and doctors told me I would lose my sight. I refused to accept that. Painting became a way to train my eyes, and, to my surprise, my vision began to improve.

My Mission

Today, painting is my daily joy and my life’s mission. I want to show my son – and everyone who encounters my art – that if you truly want something with all your heart, it can become real. Miracles happen.
